Trivia & Production Notes
- This will not be a CGI/live-action sequel to the previous The Smurf movies. Rather, this will be a reboot/origin story all animated.
- Get Smurfy will stand as a brand new entry in the Columbia Pictures movie franchise that has grossed more than $900 million globally.
- Producer Jordan Kerner explains, "We felt it was important to take a very different approach with this origin story. It returns to the roots of Peyo's creation in this CG animated adventure.
