Storyline
The always-complicated relationship between Fox Mulder and Dana Scully moves in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied toMulder's pursuits.
Additional Notes:
In recent weeks, former star David Duchovny has said the second film is moving forward and that an announcement may come soon. His co-star, Gillian Anderson, has expressed interest in returning to her role as FBI agent Dana Scully, alongside Duchovny's Mulder (05/13/07). Production will start December 10th on the sequel (11/01/07). Although character details are being closely guarded, it is believed that Xzibit and Peet will be playing FBI Agents alongside David Duchovny's Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Scully (12/06/07).
