As before, Kenny Wormald as Ren faces off with Dennis Quaid’s Rev. Moore (with Andie MacDowell as his wife), although eventually they come to an understanding.

Kenny Wormald as Ren and Miles Teller as Willard re-create an iconic moment -- the dance lesson -- from the original. Note that an iPod has replaced the Walkman.

As in the first film, Ren (Kenny Wormald) and Ariel (Julianne Hough) leave their town’s restrictions and head off to a cowboy bar, where they can join in a raucous line dance without fear.

Dancer Kenny Wormald takes over as Ren McCormack, a big-city kid who moves to the country only to find the town has placed a ban on dancing.
