Kelly Macdonald has replaced Reese Witherspoon as the lead voice in Pixar's Brave. Witherspoon was attached to portray princess Meria in Disney's animated pic but was forced to exit the project due to scheduling issues.

Disney Shifts Release Date For Pixar's 'Brave'
Pixar's 3D animated film -- featuring the voices of Reese Witherspoon and Kevin McKidd -- was scheduled for wide release June 15, 2012, but the studio said today that date has been pushed a week to June 22, 2012.

Crazy rumors floating into our offices this afternoon from reliable sources. We hear that Brenda Chapman, the first woman director at Pixar, has left the studio and is no longer directing "Brave" (previously titled "The Bear and the Bow").
