The Cahills, the most powerful family in the world, have numerous powers which are revealed through 39 clubs that are hidden around the world and scattered throughout history. It begins with the death of Cahill clan matriarch Grace, who changes her will at the last moment, giving her descendants the choice between $1 million or a clue.

- DreamWorks picked up movie rights in 2008 as a potential vehicle for Steven Spielberg. During the development process, a script was written by Jeff Nathanson (Catch Me If You Can).
