In the second major acquisition of the day at the Toronto Film Festival, Dirty Girl is near a deal to be acquired by The Weinstein Co for distribution in the U.S., France, UK, Australia/New Zealand, and South Africa. I'm told there is a guaranteed theatrical release, and that the deal is north of $3 million.
