Last weekend, Hop grossed $37.5 million, greatly exceeding expectations and, at least in North America, it will have another weekend free of kid-friendly competition. Source Code met expectations with a weekend total of $14.8 million. In third place, Insidious did well with $13.3 million, far beyond its reported $1 million production costs.
