Follows Sarah, a mother who moves with her young son Chris (James Quinn Markey) to a country home on the edge of a forest, which happens to hide an enormous sinkhole. Her boy vanishes and soon reappears unharmed, though his behavior grows increasingly disturbing, leaving his mother to fear the worst — that the boy in her home isn’t her son at all.

Sleep deprivation and the possibly of post-natal depression takes center stage as a young couple struggles to adjust to life with their new baby. As the mother starts to break down, she begins to feel that there is someone in their house, watching them. The father dismisses her claims to being overly tired, until one evening, he too catches a glimpse of the intruder. Unsure of whether they are being hounded by a stranger or being driven insane, the two of them fear for their safety and that of their new baby.

Cliffs of Freedom is the story of an ill-fated romance between young Greek village girl Anna Christina and a conflicted Turkish officer named Tariq during the dawn of the Greek War for Independence against the Ottoman Empire in 1821.
