Last weekend, Saw 3D scared up over $24 million in its seventh attempt. According to Deadline Hollywood, Lionsgate was hoping for a better weekend out of the horror franchise. Even with the 3D ticket prices, a higher box office target seems overly optimistic given the performance of Saw VI and Paranormal Activity 2 still filling theaters.
