Last weekend, The Town beat expectations and upset Easy A as the top ticket seller. The Boston bank robbers took in nearly $24 million versus the expectations of an open under $20 million. Easy A slightly underperformed with close to $18 million in ticket sales. HSX and tracking polls had put the Emma Stone comedy on track for a #1 finish.
