In Julie Taymor's version of "The Tempest," the gender of Prospero has been switched to Prospera. Shakespeare's play mixes romance with fraternal politics and the supernatural. As revised for the screen, it will center around Prospera (Mirren), her daughter Miranda (Jones) and a shipwrecked crew full of Prospera's enemies.

Ryan Reynolds will star in "Buried", playing a civilian contractor who's kidnapped in Iraq and awakens buried in a coffin in the desert, armed only with a cell phone, a candle and a knife.

The thriller concerns an American tourist (Sam Worthington) who finds his life in danger when a female Interpol agent (Angelina Jolie) uses him as a dupe to flush out an elusive criminal with whom she once had an affair.

A free-spirited travel writer, on an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle, suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on the hidden island of Lilliput, home to a population of industrious, yet tiny, people.
