Teenage Elissa Donnelly and her hard-working divorcee mother Sarah move to a new town for a fresh start, but soon learn that their new home is across from the notorious Crawley house, site of a recent double murder. And when Sarah learns that her daughter is getting friendly with Ryan Crawley, the sole surviving son of the massacre across the street, she begins to worry that Elissa is getting herself involved with a twisted psychopath.
