Jurassic World 2 screenwriter and producer Colin Trevorrow has shared a first-look at the sequel film, which opens June 22, 2018.

Trevorrow, who directed the first installment of the rebooted film franchise, co-wrote the script with Derek Connolly (Kong: Skull Island). J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is taking over directing duties this time around.

No word on the plot yet, but Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are reprising their roles from the 2015 film.

Trevorrow said in a previous interview the film would be heavily inspired by Michael Crichton's novels and the idea that, "a mistake made a long time ago just can't be undone." He also mentioned the film would be more "suspenseful and scary" than its predecessor.

As you can see below, the image shows a young girl standing before a Triceratops skeleton in a museum-like set-up.

Filming began at Langley Business Centre in Slough, England, on February 23, 2017. The majority of filming will take place in Hawaii.
