Taylor Gets Comedy 'License' at Warner
originally posted May 23, 2006
Christine Taylor (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) will play Mandy Moore's older sister in the Robin Williams comedy License to Wed for Warner Bros. Pictures, The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.
The project revolves around a young couple (Moore, John Krasinski) whose wedding plans are interrupted when the pushy minister (Williams) of the bride's family church orders the pair to complete a marriage preparation course. They must pass the class if they want to marry in his church.
Ken Kwapis (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) is directing.
Wed will be produced by Mike Medavoy and Arnold Messer of Phoenix Pictures, Robert Simonds and Nick Osborne. Trevor Engelson is co-producing. The script was written by Kim Barker and rewritten by Dan Fogelman and Roger Kumble.
