Based on an extraordinary true story, "Defiance" is an epic tale of family, honor, vengeance and salvation in World War II. Bruno is a young boy living in Berlin in 1942 with his well-to-do family. But soon the family is forced to move to Poland due to his Father's promotion at the Krakow concentration camp. There Bruno meets and befriends a young Jewish boy being held in the camp. Their meeting results in a friendship that has devastating consequences.
