Five teens from around the world -- North America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia and South America -- are given powers by Gaia, the earth spirit, in order to protect the planet from the devastation of polluters. When their powers are not enough, the teens combine to summon a superhero named Captain Planet.

Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor family. Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, he was rejected. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea, General Chester Phillips offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment... Operation: Rebirth. After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Solider Serum and bombarded by "vita-rays." Steve Rogers emerged from the treatment with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human. Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program. Three months later, he was given his first assignment as Captain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and battle savvy, Captain America has continued hiswar against evil both as a sentinel of liberty and as leader of the Avengers.

Max has lived a mundane life as a cab driver for twelve years. The faces have come and gone from his rear-view mirror: people and places he's long since forgotten—until tonight. When an off-shore narco-trafficking cartel learns that they're about to be indicted by a federal grand jury, they mount an operation to identify and kill the key witness, and the last stage is tonight. Circumstances cause Vincent to hijack Max' taxicab, and Max becomes collateral—an expendable person who's in the wrong place at the wrong time. Through the night, Vincent forces Max to drive him to each assigned destination. And as the L.A.P.D. and F.B.I. race to intercept them, Max and Vincent's survival become dependent on each other, in ways neither would have imagined.

A New York City bike messenger becomes a puppet in an assassin's deadly game, forced to deliver bombs to save his family's life. A female FBI agent with a vendetta against the villain must work outside the system to catch the messenger and solve the case before it takes on global implications.

The project revolves around a group of U.S. truck drivers who make a one-year commitment to drive goods for U.S. contractors through the Afghan war zone because of financial hardships back home
