In late 2007, filmmakers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost sensed a story unfolding as they began to film the life of Ariel’s brother, Nev. They had no idea that their project would lead to the most exhilarating and unsettling months of their lives.

A rising young singer-songwriter becomes involved with a fallen country singer. As they embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband and manager and a beauty queen-turned singer, romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.

Tommy is fresh out of prison and ready for a second chance in life. Enter his loving sister Vicky, her cynical husband Ed and their family.
