In 18th century Denmark, Captain Ludvig Kahlen (Mads Mikkelsen) – a proud, ambitious, but impoverished war hero -- sets out to tame a vast, uninhabitable land on which seemingly nothing can grow. The Von Erichs, real name Adkisson, begin their wrestling dynasty when Fritz Von Erich (born Jack Barton Adkisson) becomes a star in the National Wrestling Alliance, holding multiple belts in the 1960s before becoming president of the org. Hayes into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Chairman Fred Hampton was 21 years old when he was assassinated by the FBI, who coerced a petty criminal, William O’Neal, to betray him and the Black Panther Party.
