A boy of 16 wants to get in the house of one of his classmates to glean inspiration for his writing assignments. Impressed with this unusual and gifted student, his teacher rediscovers a taste for teaching, but the intrusion sparks a series of uncontrollable events.

ajo Tonorio, a.k.a. “Filly Brown,” is a raw, young Los Angeles hip-hop artist who spits rhymes from the heart. With an incarcerated mother, and a father struggling to provide for his daughters, a record contract could be the ticket out for her family. Coffee Town is an updated workplace comedy for the generation that works out of coffee shops. Also standing in their way is Sam (Josh Groban), a disgruntled barista with delusions of rock star grandeur, and Will's heartache over unrequited love for Becca (Adrianne Palicki).
