Cassandra Reilly (Judy Davis) is an American translator who has moved permanently to Barcelona. She's quite broke, though, so when a glamorous stranger asks for her help, she can't afford to refuse. The hot femme-fatale Frankie Stevens (Marcia Gay Harden) is another American in Barcelona. Her husband has disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and she asks Cassandra to help her find him. As she offers a significant amount of money for the assistance, Cassandra simply can't refuse. Soon she finds herself caught up in a web of mistaken identities, double-crossing families and a devilish kidnapping plot.

The Grombergs are a highly successful New York family - except when it comes to communicating with each other. Three generations of a family, each in their own way, live separate lives but find a couple moments in time to come together through laughter and tears and remind themselves that they are attached by blood. Mitchell Gromberg (Michael Douglas), the patriarch, is having difficulty coming to grips with his mortality. His son, Alex (Kirk Douglas), has spent his life trying not to duplicate his father's mistakes, while Alex's eldest son, Asher (Cameron Douglas), a rebellious college student, tries to cope with live, love, sex and rock 'n' roll in today's confused society. They all struggle to get from one end of life to the other - the younger Grombergs try to figure out where they are going while the older Grombergs try to figure out how in the hell they got where they are.

At a deserted train station, a teacher and a gangster meet and realize that each might have been better suited to the other man's way of life. As a friendship of sorts develops between these opposite personalities, each starts to envy the other and by the week's end, everything will change for both of them.

Set somewhere, sometime, in an unnamed country, torn by civil war with unclear battle lines or ideology, "Masked and Anonymous" tells the story of a "benefit concert." Impressario Uncle Sweetheart (John Goodman) is scheming to find a headliner for this event whose purpose is unclear and whose charity is its promoter's pockets. Nina Veronica (Jessica Lange) is the veteran TV producer whose job it is to make the concert the international spectacle which it can never be. And when Sweetheart manages to get the iconic cult star Jack Fate (Bob Dylan) released from prison, the stage is set for tumult. Jeff Bridges as the cynical investigative reporter, Penélope Cruz as his girlfriend, Luke Wilson as the devoted acolyte, and a sundry cast of supporting characters give this imaginative allegory its energy and spirit.

This is the story of three guys in their early 30's, Mitch (Luke Wilson), Frank (Will Ferrell), and Beanie (Vince Vaughn), who try to relive their old college glory days by moving into a large house near their old campus. They inadvertently form an "unofficial fraternity", where students can enjoy all the riches of the partying lifestyle without the commitment that comes with having to abide by the university's fraternity rules. Soon, however, the realities of their past lives catches up with their wild college lifestyles.

This documentary examines the careers of the 1950s-1970s Stax Records and Motown soul and R&B singers who "kept on keeping on" right through (and after) the disco scene into today, through the use of interviews with and performance footage by such Motown luminaries as Isaac Hayes, the Chi-Lites, Sam Moore (of Sam and Dave), Mary Wilson (of the Supremes) and others. The focus of the film is how these performers managed to keep thriving through the 30 years of change in the music industry since the heydays of classic R&B.

A young engaged couple in Copenhagen, Cecille (Sonja Richter) and Joachim (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), finds their relationship changed forever when Joachim is hit by a car and paralyzed. As Joachim's doctor, Niels (Mads Mikkelsen) consols Cecille, they grow closer and become romantically involved, which also threatens his marriage to Marie (Paprika Steen), who was secretly the person who actually hit Joachim to begin with.

Amidst this turmoil, life suddenly takes an unexpected turn for loner Charley when he meets the beautiful and warm-spirited Sue Barlow (Annette Bening), a woman who embraces both his heart and his soul. As these courageous men prepare for the decisive battle that looms, they are also forced to confront and conquer their own internal demons.

This is the decades-long story of the relationship between a prominent high school football coach (Ed Harris) in a small South Carolina town and the illiterate, mentally-challenged man nicknamed Radio (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) whom he mentors, who before that had always been the target of jokes and teasing by the community. Although their friendship raises some eyebrows at first, Radio's growth under the coach's guidance ultimately inspires the local townsfolk, from 1964 when he first starts helping the Hanna Yellow Jackets football team, through a 38+ career with the school that continues today.

Spider is a strange and lonely man. After a long period in a mental institution, he returns to the streets of the East End of London where he grew up. The sights and sounds and the smells of those streets begin to awaken the deeply buried memories of his childhood. At the centre of these memories is the great trauma of losing his mother, a trauma which occurred, he believes, because his plumber father, Bill Cleg, murdered her in order to move a prostitute, Yvonne, into the house in her place.

"Super Sucker" is a hilarious comedy about rival door-to-door vacuum cleaner sales teams. In addition to writing and directing, Jeff Daniels, once again, the underdog heads up his team of misfits as Fred Barlow. Barlow meets Howard Butterworth, played by fellow Michigan native and Purple Rose Theatre (a repertory theatre founded by Daniels) alumnus Matt Letscher ('Good Morning Miami'). Schnaebelt, played by Harve Presnell is the razzle-dazzle red-suited competitor who will do anything to undermine Barlow. Barlow and Schnaebelt battle for territory and survival in a ‘winner takes all' contest.

Graduating from junior high school, Lizzie McGuire (Hillary Duff) goes to Italy for her summer vacation. Lizzie's inner thoughts are represented on the screen in the form of an animated version of herself...

Esther Gold (Glenn Close) devotes herself to her comatose, bedridden son, and expresses love for her daughter by trying to win her a car in a last-one-standing radio contest. Jim Train (Dermot Mulroney) questions his value as a man when he is passed over for promotion; Annette Jenning (Patricia Clarkson) tries to keep her family intact in the wake of her divorce; and Helen Christianson (Mary Kay Place) looks for fun and inspiration in her banal life. Despair and humor are delicately balanced in this film that examines people's investment in things that are more predictable, if less satisfying, than their relationships with other people.

Maria Rosa looks for Chief Tensrio, a backwoods cop who is also a knife specialist, and convince him to break the laws he defends. Maria Pia goes off in search of Jesulino Cruz, also known as "The Devil's Horse," but there is a slight obstacle in her path: this killer is locked up in prison."

As tension at home escalates and Meg struggles to find a way to get to the poetry finals in Florida, Auster's role in her life becomes increasingly complex.
