Red Platoon

Dangerous Odds

Marisa Lankester, a young beautiful woman, becomes an insider of the sports betting empire run by Ron "The Cigar" Sacco. She falls in love with his business partner, and moves the business with him from L.A. to Vegas and then the Dominican Republic, where gambling is legal. While she becomes a top model as well as a gambling mogul there, her existence devolves into a nightmare of incarceration and rape, before she finally escapes. She now lives in Switzerland.

Russ & Roger

Set in the late 1960s when cheap counterculture films are minting money, struggling studio 20th Century Fox gives soft-core pulp director Russ Meyers the opportunity to direct "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls" because his profit margins are so high and his costs are miniscule. Meyer agrees to take on "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls" on the condition that the script is written by film critic Roger Ebert, who had written one of the few positive reviews Meyer had ever received. Meyers and Ebert struggle with the studio's board of directors and the ratings board, but despite being the rare major studio release with an X rating, they are vindicated when "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls" is released in 1970 to big box office.

King of the Jungle

Former NASA programmer John McAfee develops the first commercial anti-virus program which is eventually acquired by Intel in 2010 for $7.68 billion. McAfee's personal fortune takes a significant hit in the wake of the financial crisis, forcing him to sell almost everything he owns. While leaving in Belize, Belizean authorities seek him out to question him about the murder of American expatriate and neighbor Gregory Viant Faull in Orange Walk Town. McAfee seeks political asylum in Guatemala, but his plea is denied and he is designated for deportation after allegedly entering the country illegally. While at a detention center, McAfee fakes a heart attack in order to give his attorney time to file a series of appeals that prevents his deportation to Belize, and on December 12, 2012, he was deported to the United States.
