A Bad Moms Christmas follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers.

By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.

A woman hatches a scheme to make her family instant celebrities by having her ex-boyfriend kidnap her 11-year-old daughter for a month.

After Ginnie (Annaleigh Tipton) breaks up with the awkward Martin (Emile Hirsch), he falls into a broken-hearted depression. But just then her father Mr. Gallo (Simmons), a man resolutely unimpressed by Martin, persuades him to take him to where Ginnie lives. When they don’t find her there, the two spend the rest of the day and night together searching for her all over Los Angeles and soon form an uneasy friendship.

Once a promising young chef, Charlie (Freddie Highmore) is now an unmotivated twenty-something who lives at home with his mom (Marg Helgenberger) and stepfather while working at a small movie theatre and living vicariously through his best friend, Ben (Haley Joel Osment). His life takes an unpredictable turn however, when he finds himself falling for local barista Amber (Odeya Rush). Problem is, Amber has her own distractions- her mooching roommate (Jake Abel) a track star boyfriend (Taylor John Smith) and steadfast plans to move to New York City. On top of that, Charlie's estranged father (Christopher Meloni) unexpectedly re-enters his life just as he begins to take a long, hard look at where he's going and who he wants to be. With conflict after conflict piling on, will Charlie reach his tipping point or will he finally find the path forward?

After encountering a ghost in his vacation home, terrified Dan Pappadakis (Steve Zissis) goes behind his wife’s back to hire an industrial grade exorcist – the bizarre and needy Os Bijourn. While implementing a variety of increasingly outlandish “ghost traps,” Os tries to befriend Dan almost as relentlessly as he tries to destroy the home’s “demons.” Dan considers calling the whole thing off, but it quickly becomes apparent that a great evil has embedded itself in his home, and that the fate of his entire family is at stake.
