Kaitlyn (Natalie Zea), an ER nurse who is tending to a young stabbing victim, is accidentally electrocuted by the defibrillator that is used in an effort to save the woman's life. Almost immediately she starts to experience the victim's memories. Kaitlyn turns to family, friends, and the police, but no one takes her seriously. She decides to take it upon herself to solve the crime - as the terrifying visions threaten her sanity.

Mercedes Alvarez was three years old when her parents left La Aldea, a village in the barren Northern Spanish Soria region. She was the last child born in La Aldea. Now, only fourteen people live there. Soon this village, like so many other rural communities all over the world, will be deserted. Alvarez returns for the first time to her ancestral home and makes a film about memory and the terrifying passing of time.

Father Billy (Steve Little), an eccentric young priest, is forced to take a sabbatical by his superiors when he is discovered telling inappropriate parables to his flock. Billy tracks down his high-school idol Robbie (Robert Longstreet), who begrudgingly agrees to a canoe trip. When night approaches, they realize they have lost their way -- and that's when things get weird.
