The duo makes 85 deliveries of munitions to Afghanistan worth more than $66 million before their arms-dealing careers are cut short when federal agents raid their Miami Beach offices in August 2007, culminating in 71 counts of fraud.

Judah Ben-Hur and Messala grow up best friends before the Roman Empire takes control of Jerusalem. Judah Ben-Hur is a Jewish prince and Messala is the son of a Roman tax collector. After the latter leaves to be educated in Rome for five years, Messala returns with a different attitude. The two former friends struggle with their differences. Along the way, Judah has several encounters with Jesus Christ which moves him to become a believer in the Messiah.

Because of his distrust in the German justice system, Fritz Bauer contacts the Israeli secret service Mossad, and, by doing so, commits treason. Bauer is not seeking revenge for the Holocaust -- he is concerned with the German future.
