Deep in the Siberian wilderness, far away from civilization, 300 people inhabit the small village of Bakhta at the river Yenisei. There are only two ways to reach this outpost: by helicopter or boat. There‘s no telephone, running water or medical aid. The locals, whose daily routines have barely changed over the last centuries, live according to their own values and cultural traditions. With insightful commentary written and narrated by Werner Herzog, Happy People follows one of the Siberian trappers through all four seasons of the year to tell the story of a culture virtually untouched by modernity.

Ten years after Yossi and Jagger, the tragic love story of two IDF officers serving in Lebanon, director Eytan Fox returns to find out what hae happened with Yossi. Dr. Yossi Hoffman has become a valued and dedicated cardiologist, often using his work as a way to escape from dealing with his anguished life. He lives alone, still closeted, unable to break through the walls and defenses built around him since the death of his lover. Even his co-workers a recently divorced doctor, who tries to sweep Yossi into his world of women and drugs, and a lonely nurse, who is secretly in love with him find it almost impossible to get close to him. His daily routine at the hospital is shaken up by the arrival of a mysterious woman. He follows her, and through the suprising connection they make, recieves a rare opportunity to deal with his trauma. Yossi then travels to the southern city of Eilat. Surounded by the sea and sand dunes he meets a group of young Israeli IDF officers, among them Tom, a handsome and self confident openly gay man, who represents a new world, different from the one that shaped Yossi.

In a mansion on the outskirts of Seoul lives one of the richest families in the entire country. Yoon is the president of a powerful conglomerate, but it’s his wife Madame Baek that is really in control. Her personal secretary Young-jak, a handsome young man newly introduced to the world of power, deals with the families immoral – and frequently illegal – activities. He makes sure that the Baeks’ influential American business partner has supply of hookers and waits for his own opportunity to make it rich. But everything changes when Madame Baek catches her husband having an affair with their Filipino maid and exacts her revenge by seducing Young-jak. Young-jak however has secrets of his own, as he finds himself drawn closer and closer to Nami, Madame Baek’s beautiful young daughter.

But when the Baeks’ son is arrested and Madame Baek decides to further punish her husband by airing their dirty laundry in public, Young-jak is torn between his morality and a shortcut to a successful life.

Best friends Nick (Alex Karpovsky) and Darryl (co-writer Tarik Lowe) are a New York film editing duo hired to salvage a botched comedy from a manic director (Kevin Corrigan) gone AWOL. But what starts as a simple job quickly sends their relationships—with their significant others and each other—reeling. Amidst trouble with his fiancée (Sophia Takal), Nick finds himself falling for the film's flirtatious ingénue (Arielle Kebbel); Darryl, meanwhile, struggles to focus on his editing work in between fights with his tempestuous girlfriend (Melonie Diaz).
