Set in a small town in California's San Joaquin Valley in 1942, fourteen-year-old Homer Macauley, a telegraph bike messenger, is left to care for his widowed mother, his older sister and his four-year-old brother, after his older brother goes to fight in World War II. The effects of the war are revealed as Homer delivers messages of love, friendship, pain and death, including one message that alters his own life forever.

For The Love of Spock celebrates the upcoming 50th Anniversary of Star Trek through a personal, intimate look at the life and career of Leonard Nimoy – and his alter ego Mr. Spock – as told by his son, Adam Nimoy, featuring never-before-seen home videos and family photos. Fifteen-year-old Brandon longs for a pair of the freshest sneakers that money can buy; assuming that merely having them on his feet will help him escape the reality of being poor, neglected by the opposite sex and picked on by everyone -- even his best friends. Newly arrived from England, Peter (Itay Tiran) is set to marry his fiancee Zaneta at her family’s ramshackle country house in rural Poland. As the ceremony proceeds, Peter begins to come undone, and a dybbuk, the iconic ancient figure from Jewish folklore, takes a toehold in this present-day celebration – for a very particular reason, as it turns out.

When a local resident was charged, and then convicted, of the murders, the community grappled with what it meant to be at the epicenter of this tragedy.

When Brady finds out his girlfriend has been cheating on him, his best friend Tommy decides that the best way for him to get over it is with a raging drug induced birthday celebration in Mexico. Things quickly take a dark turn when the two girls they meet at a bar are connected to the Mexican drug cartel and the girls hold them for ransom. Brady and Tommy must fight for their lives and a way to escape, while being drugged and tortured in a desolate hotel in a foreign country, which will prove to be the most twisted birthday celebration of all time.
