This Year In Movies - Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Change-Up open in wide release this weekend.

The Planet of the Apes franchise reboot is said to be having a difficult gaining interest with mainstream audiences; however, the film is the frontrunner for the top box office spot (with $35-45 million expected). The body-switching male comedy, The Change Up, has garnered significant intrigue from women of all ages (given their proclaimed love for Ryan Reynolds). The raunchy film has some funny moments; however, overall doesn’t truly compare to the laughs in Horrible Bosses, Bridesmaids (which hits DVD/Blu-ray next month) or to the producers’ previous "masterpiece", Wedding Crashers.
