Dog Man is a lovable canine superhero, and his friends Li'l Petey is a curious kitten who embodies love, optimism and hope, and 80-HD is a robot who expresses himself best through his art.

The story of a kitten, abandoned in a book drop on a cold winter night, who is rescued by workers at a library in rural Iowa. It becomes the library's mascot, charming and inspiring patrons and staffers and, during the course of a long life, acquiring an international fan club.
