A group of space explorers come across a lost ship, the USS Cygnus, hovering outside a black hole. Inside the Cygnus, the explorers meet a scientist, commanding an army of faceless robots, who explains his crew deserted him as he planned to go through the black hole. The explorers soon discover that the robots are the remnants of the former crew and that the scientist has no intention of letting them leave.

Teens inadvertently acquire a cache of high-tech weapons the likes of which have never been seen.

Reporter Carl Kolchak investigates mysterious crimes with a supernatural or sci-fi bent.

In 1944, a young boy is abducted by the Boogeyman and dragged by the ankles into the closet realm known as The Dark. The boy's faithful teddy-bear rallies his toys to follow his master in a rescue mission. Once in the closet, the toys become live size and face off against the Boogeyman and his army-- a legion of the boy's forgotten, bitter toys. Fighting to survive insurmountable odds, the toys discover this is a battle not only for the soul of a child, but for their own as well.

Revolves around the emotional journey of a brother and sister as they undertake an epic space adventure.
