Drama about a band of thieves on the run from a bank robbery and the suburban family they come across during their escape. When the criminals stash their stolen money in the family's SUV at a rest stop, the road trippers unwittingly draw the murderous band of outlaws on their trail. Elisabeth Rohm plays the mother of the family on its way to a camping trip to bond. Harold Perrineau and Diora Baird are members of the bank robbery crew.

When hundreds of videotapes showing torture, murder and dismemberment are found in an abandoned house, they reveal a serial killer's decade-long reign of terror and become the most disturbing collection of evidence homicide detectives have ever seen. Actual footage from these tapes, mixed with interviews with FBI profilers and victims' families, begin to expose the many layers to this mystery.
