The film is based on two different accounts of a true story. It is described as a darkly comic tale of murder and survival, set among a group of diverse characters who choose to leave civilization behind and venture to the Galapagos. Their primary motivation is to find the meaning of life, a pressing question that affects us all.

Set in Athens and the Epirus region of Greece, where a vacationing couple, played by Washington and Vikander, fall trap to a violent conspiracy with tragic consequences.
