A young boy, who is under an amnesia spell, comes from a line of sorcerers but doesn't learn about his supernatural abilities until he's a twentysomething slacker who's attacked by a mysterious coven and then must discover the secrets of his past in order to protect Earth.

This original story will be a gritty actioner introducing the character of Lucas Armstrong and the life-or-death consequences he will face after undergoing a transformation granting him superhuman abilities.

Three household pets are stolen by the government and turned into armor-suited killers by a clandestine military program. The lethal trio of pets escape just prior to being "decommissioned" and decide to find their way home with the government in hot pursuit.

Living in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, Matt Murdock is blinded by a radioactive substance that falls from an oncoming vehicle. Despite not being able to see anymore, the radioactive exposure heightens his remaining senses beyond normal human ability. His father, a boxer named Jack Murdock supports him as he grows up, though he is later killed by gangsters after refusing to throw a fight. After donning a yellow and black, and later a dark red costume, Matt seeks out revenge against his father's killers as the superhero Daredevil, fighting against his many enemies.

A young polo player is kidnapped and taken to the distant planet Mongo, where he and companions Dale Arden and Hans Zarkov embark on a series of adventures fighting a ruler named Ming the Merciless.

The film will feature Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart, one of DC's most prominent African-American heroes.

Marvel Comics' Luke Cage (the company's first black superhero) is a former gang member who is nabbed by the cops after being framed. In jail, he signs up to participate in medical tests, and when things go wrong, he develops superhuman strength and impenetrable skin, which help him bust out of prison. He then becomes an evil-vanquishing mercenary.

"Madman" is a post-modernist reimagining of the Frankenstein tale, with a superhero twist. The title character, killed in a car accident, is reanimated by an eccentric doc who names him Frank Einstein and instills in him enhanced senses, psychic power and exceptional physical skills. The doc can't fix his creature's face, so Madman wears a costume modeled after his fave superhero to hide his scars.
