Magic Kingdom for Sale

A recently widowed attorney, still grieving for his wife, leaves his old life behind and responds to a strange ad and spends his fortune to purchase a magical kingdom. With his reluctant teenage children, he must unite the kingdom's citizens and creatures to stop an evil demon bent on destroying the realm.

Here, There Be Dragons

"Here, There Be Dragons" brings together three strangers—John, Jack and Charles—in London during World War I, where they become entrusted with the Imaginarium Geographica, an atlas of all the lands that have ever existed in myth, legend, fable and fairy tale. They end up traveling to the Archipelago of Dreams, fighting the dark forces that threaten two worlds. It is later revealed that the three are future fantasy authors J.R.R. Tolkien ("The Lord of the Rings"), C.S. Lewis ("The Chronicles of Narnia") and Williams, who met in real life at Oxford and enjoyed a competitive friendship.

Hourman

Chemist Rex Tyler creates a new synthesis, "Miraclo," which grants him super-strength and endurance, but only for one hour. Rex's son Rick Tyler later becomes the hero.

Set in an alternate USSR where futuristic technology co-mingles with magical elements, a Red Fleet soldier goes up against an ex-leader who rules with an iron fist.

An illusionist has the power to hypnotize his foes at great speed. With his companion Lothar, an African strongman, Mandrake fights evildoers ranging from gangsters to masters of disguise to aliens. He also has a twin brother who uses his power for evil instead of good.

Measle and the Wrathmonk

After his parents go missing, a young boy is sent to live with an eccentric uncle who turns out to be a crazy wizard. Before the kid knows it, he's been shrunk and banished to be a villager in the wrathmonk's toy train set.

The Traveler

Set in the near future, a battle exists between the Tabula, which manages society through constant observation, and the Travelers, a nearly extinct group of people who can project their spirit into other dimensions.

An expedition is sent from Earth to check on a colony of scientists on a far-off planet. They find two members, a man who has found alien technology that doubled his intellect, Dr. Morbius, and his daughter, both of whom have managed to survive an unseen monster roaming the planet.

Hyperion Cantos

A space war is taking place on the planet named Hyperion, where there are electricity-spewing trees and Time Tombs, large artifacts that can move through time. The tombs are guarded by a monster called the Shrike, which impales people on metal trees.

Pinocchio

Follows Geppetto, the woodcarver who creates a puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy and whose nose grows when he tells a lie. When Pinocchio goes missing, Geppetto embarks on a quest to reunite with his marionette.
