Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

Set in 1970s Brooklyn, Dylan is a white boy who is out of place with the rough street kids and the priviledged kids of his high-standard school. When he finds a ring that grants him magical powers, he and his friend experiment with crime fighting.

Mark takes advantage of reliving the same day over and over by reading his way through a library. When he meets Margaret, who's also aware of the time loop, they set out to find every amazing event — no matter how big or small — that occurred on that day.
