The story centers on Dracula as a young prince; he is known to history as Vlad the Impaler, the man behind the Dracula myth.

Set in the mid-1800s in upstate New York, two young girls, the Fox sisters, are at the center of a haunting. They remain in touch with a spirit that haunts them as they grow up. When they reach adulthood, both girls disavow the haunting, then promptly die mysteriously. Years later, a journalist ventures back to the haunted house and the spiritualist community that sprung up around it to try to figure out what really happened, and is met with terrifying answers.

The small Bahamian island of Norman's Cay is turned into the fulcrum of cocaine smuggling and a hedonistic paradise by Carlos Lehder, the right-hand man of Medellin Cartel leader Pablo Escobar. Lehder takes over the island by force, payoffs and bribery. The U.S. government launches a full-scale assault -- and Lehder and Escobar turn against each other. Escobar is killed and Lehder is captured.

Set in 1977, the film follows NASA's preparations for launching the first interstellar probes. Led by astronomer Carl Sagan, a team is tasked with creating a message called The Golden Record to accompany these probes. However, what begins as a time-sensitive mission transforms into an extraordinary and unforeseen love story.

The nations of Earth form the Unity party and cede global governance to the Vulcan AI system. Unity director William Barris must determine who wants to destroy the system.
