Funnyman Bernie Mac brings his irreverent comedy to the big screen to star in this hysterical movie about an over-the-hill ballplayer who learns there's more to the game than individual stats and a Hall-of-Fame plaque. Stan Ross (Mac) once loved the game of baseball, playing with passion, energy, and every ounce of his natural talent. But somewhere along the way, the fame went to his head. The self-centered star ended his career prematurely, shocking his teammates by selfishly quitting the game in the middle of a season, right after getting his 3,000th hit—the unofficial key to baseball's Hall of Fame. Now, ten years later, three of Mr. 3000's hits have been disqualified, and the 47-year- old out-of-shape former slugger attempts a comeback—hitting the gym and facing down pitchers half his age—only to find that three hits are a lot harder to come by than they used to be! Tommy Lee Jones stars as a veteran FBI agent assigned to watch over a group of cheerleaders in the action/comedy "Man of the House". The collegiate cheeleaders witnessed a murder after a competition. The agent must investigate the murder, learn to deal with the energetic, yet dysfunctional bunch, while protecting them from the killers. Brian Van Holt plays an FBI agent, and Shea Whigham another Texas Ranger. Paget Brewster has been cast as Binky, the enthusiastic cheerleading coach.

Fresh off a stellar collegiate basketball career, aspiring professional basketball star, Damon Sharp, returns to his hometown in Chicago quickly to discover a more challenging game off the court. His former life and old bad habits abruptly challenge his newfound faith in God. Damon’s dreams of playing pro ball hang in the balance while he faces the circling demons of his past, which are being beckoned by his brother Darrin, who’s on a fast track to jail.

Devastated when he doesn’t make the draft pick, weakness takes root and the downward spiraling ensues. Damon’s extended stay at home unveils his mother’s severe depression and his brother’s growing penchant for trouble despite being a single dad, exposing his young nephew’s vulnerability.

An intimate portrait of the two brothers emerges when they are suddenly forced to re-examine their lives, loyalty, love and their own limitations. Ultimately the choices they make reveal their true character when one of them takes a shot in life that will set the course for everyone’s life forever.
