After Sigmund the sea monster is booted from his home by his nasty brothers for being too nice, Sigmund is befriended by two friends who stash him in their clubhouse.

Three lazy misfits - very timid Elliot (Larry the Cucumber), lazy Sedgewick (Mr. Lunt) and no self-confident George (Pa Grape) - dream of the day of putting on a show about pirates. With their own problems of might not having this dream come true, they soon find themselves traveling back in time into the 17th century and begin a quest to rescue a royal family from an evil tyrant, and learn about being pirates.

A man and a woman put aside their adventurous days in order to have a family. When the man finds his life a bit routine, he can't resist going off in search of a long-buried, fabled icon, convincing his family they're merely going on vacation.

Wishbone, a Jack Russell terrier, lives with his owner Joe Talbot in Oakdale, Texas. The dog daydreams about being the lead character of stories from classic literature. The characters from his daydreams see Wishbone as whichever famous character he is currently portraying and not as a dog.
