Ghanaian-American Sarah is all set to abandon her Ivy League doctoral program to follow her married lover across the country. Her plans are derailed, however when her mother’s sudden death leaves her the owner of a neighborhood bookshop in the Bronx.

The story centers on an unassuming mute from a small town who moves to New York to pursue his dreams of conducting an orchestra.

A 30-year-old guy meets the woman of his dreams and life could not be better, but right before his wedding, he gets a knock at his door and a 66-year-old man walks in and says do not marry this girl because she will ruin your life.

"School" is described as a comedy in which a group of hopefuls battle it out in a competition to make the PGA Tour, with both their game and their personal lives sometimes ending up in the drink along the way. The title is a reference to qualifying school, an annual tournament in which several hundred aspiring pros compete for a limited number of spots on the following year's tour.

The story follows a young married guy obsessed with being a sports referee who has hopes of entering a national contest with the help of a broken-down former referee.
