The romantic comedy is about a girl who is not looking for love and so acquires the novelty toy "Boyfriend in a Box" in order to keep friends and family from bugging her about her love life. Soon she finds she must produce the man, only to learn that the real-life guy is nothing like the boxed boyfriend.
