Two FBI agents who, despite hating each other, are forced to pose as newlyweds in order to bring down a crime ring. Through the course of their ruse, the agents fall in love.

Based on an episode of NPR's "This American Life", "Niagara" (only a working title) will tell the story of an ex-con who plays organ at a wedding chapel near Niagara Falls. When he hears that his estranged son is planning to go over the falls in a barrel to earn a few bucks, the father decides to rob a bank to get him the cash instead. Of course, the robbery is botched, the father is implicated in a murder, and he ends up on the run from the law.

While doing a friend a favor and searching for a runaway teenager on Turk Street, Jack (Jackson) stumbles upon a bizarre band of criminals about to pull off a bank robbery. Jack finds himself being held hostage while the criminals decide what to do with him, and the leader's beautiful girlfriend, Erin (Jovovich), is left alone to watch Jack. Erin, who is a master manipulator of the men in the gang, reveals another side to Jack - a melancholy romantic who could have been a classical pianist.
