A family has been haunted by an evil spirit for years. Their safety and surroundings come into question when one of the children questions if the evil is real.

A team of reality show contestants run afoul of a group of backwater Cajuns while traversing the dense Louisiana swamp as part of their global race. What starts out as a simple misunderstanding and a clash of cultures quickly escalates into an all-out blood feud.
