A group of friends competing for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, go on a trek through the woods and realize they are being hunted down by a group of rich and powerful people.

Set at Christmas time, “Godmothered” is a comedy about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell), who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Finding a mislaid letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston. Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “happily ever after,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.

However, Harris wants no part of Michigan, small towns and he has no interest in being the young man’s hero. The young man must face his hero and navigate the relationship between heroes, reality and hope.

Meet ‘Mirza’ (Amitabh Bachchan) – a 78yrs old landlord, who would move heaven and earth for his most prized possession – an old depleted mansion in the heart of Lucknow. But this garden of roses comes with its own cluster of ‘pricky thorns’ – tenants. Amongst them most prominently, ‘Baankey’ (Ayushmann Khuranna) a shrewd, sly and squatted tenant, who matches Mirza bit for bit in their ceaseless bantering.
