Story centers on groups of survivors on the run after a zombie-like plague that causes it’s victims to carry out their most evil and violent wishes, has overtaken the world almost overnight.

The film will be based on Capcom's third-person shooter, which centers on a a cargo pilot named Will who, after crashing in the Bermuda Triangle, ends up in a parallel universe where a band of humans must fight an alien threat they had long been thought extinct. Will and the other humans are outmanned but have a number of weapons and powers to help them beat back the alien incursion.

The film will feature Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart, one of DC's most prominent African-American heroes.
