Vertigo ramps up StreetDance, Monsters sequels
Monsters 2 will be directed by emerging hotshots Brent Bonacorso and Jesse Atlas, with original director Gareth Edwards serving as executive producer alongside actor Scoot McNairy and Vertigo’s Rupert Preston. Vertigo’s Niblo and Richardson have also brought in Ben Pugh and Rory Aitken from Between the Eyes as producers.

'Monsters' Director Stomps to 'Godzilla'

Protagonist scares up US deal for SXSW hit Monsters
Magnet Releasing, the genre arm of Magnolia Pictures, has acquired Gareth Edward’s Monsters for North American and Mexico following its world premiere at the SXSW Film Conference and Festival. The festival runs March 12 - 20 in Austin, Texas.
