The trial ended with the defendants sentenced to hard labor, but an appeal absolved them, with the provision that they stop publishing the magazine. Cillian Murphy will play Neville.

There, he was rescued by a promoter who helped Gaye record his biggest-selling album, "Midnight Love," which yielded the monster comeback hit, "Sexual Healing." Gaye's life was cut short the day before his 45th birthday in 1984, when his father killed him.

The film will cover the period early in singer Dionne Warwick's career from 1962 through 1968.

Follows the 1980s rise of the Grammy-winning German-French R&B duo, as well as their fall after it emerges that they lip-synch all of their songs.
