Killraven

Set in a future where mankind has been enslaved by an alien race, a man born in captivity rises through gladiatorial battles to become the leader of a group of revolutionaries. Called the Freemen, his warrior-slaves unite in an attempt to drive the invaders off the Earth.

Luke Cage

Marvel Comics' Luke Cage (the company's first black superhero) is a former gang member who is nabbed by the cops after being framed. In jail, he signs up to participate in medical tests, and when things go wrong, he develops superhuman strength and impenetrable skin, which help him bust out of prison. He then becomes an evil-vanquishing mercenary.

Madman

"Madman" is a post-modernist reimagining of the Frankenstein tale, with a superhero twist. The title character, killed in a car accident, is reanimated by an eccentric doc who names him Frank Einstein and instills in him enhanced senses, psychic power and exceptional physical skills. The doc can't fix his creature's face, so Madman wears a costume modeled after his fave superhero to hide his scars.

Maintenance

Two janitors work at Terrormax Inc., the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of weapons and doomsday devices to supervillains. When they're not too busy cleaning up toxic spills and performing menial repairs on time machines, they just might save the world.

Metal Men

A brilliant scientist, William Magnus, creates six highly advanced robots who have powers associated with their respective metals -- gold, iron, lead, tin, mercury and platinum. Instead of having to be programed, the Metal Men can think for themselves, which is both their genius and their biggest flaw.

New Gods

The New Gods are natives of the twin planets of New Genesis and Apokolips. New Genesis is an idyllic planet ruled by the Highfather, while Apokolips is a dystopia ruled by the tyrant Darkseid. New Genesis and Apokolips call themselves gods, living outside of normal time and space in a realm known as the Fourth World.
