Storyline
After a turncoat underworld boss fingers officers Stephen Caracappa and Louis Eppolito as mob employees, William Oldham becomes a special investigator for the U.S. Attorney's Brooklyn office after the NYPD decides not to investigate. The office eventually finds enough evidence to arrest the pair. In 2006, they are convicted of labor racketeering, extortion, narcotics, illegal gambling, obstruction of justice, eight counts of murder and conspiracy to commit murder and are sentenced to life in federal prison.
