Additional Notes:

Based on the novel by Dan Brown which was published in May 2013 by Doubleday.

Tom Hanks had been expected to reprise his role as Robert Langdon in The Lost Symbol, the third novel in Dan Brown's book series. But Howard had bowed out of that project, which is now on the back burner, saying he wanted to produce it with Brian Grazer but not direct (Deadline Hollywood, 7/17/2013).
