When teenage Yi (Chloe Bennet, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in Shanghai, she and her mischievous friends, Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai), name him “Everest” and embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth. But the trio of friends will have to stay one-step ahead of Burnish (Eddie Izzard), a wealthy man intent on capturing a Yeti, and zoologist Dr. Zara (Sarah Paulson) to help Everest get home.

After a fateful meeting with a big-time talent agent in a southern swamp, Kermit heads for Hollywood to be a star. Along the way, a cast of lovable Muppet characters, including the dazzling Miss Piggy, the hilarious Fozzie Bear and Gonzo the Great, join him to become movie stars, too! Together they rub elbows with some of the biggest names on the silver screen! When the evil Doc Hopper tries to turn Kermit into the spokesfrog for his chain of fast food frog's legs restaurants, the Muppets must sing, dance and karate chop their way to Hollywood!
