Deep in Appalachia, Pastor Lemuel Childs (Walton Goggins) presides over an isolated community of serpent handlers, an obscure sect of Pentecostals who willingly take up venomous snakes to prove themselves before God. As his devoted daughter, Mara (Alice Englert) prepares for her wedding day, under the watchful eye of Hope Slaughter (Olivia Colman), a dangerous secret is unearthed and she is forced to confront the deadly tradition of her father’s church.

Follows a 21-year-old Irish convict named Clare who struggles to be free from an abusive master, Lieutenant Hawkins, after she finishes her seven-year sentence in 1820s Tasmania. After Hawkins commits a horrible crime against Clare’s family she is forced to pursue through the wilderness with the help of Billy, a young Aboriginal tracker.

Based on a true story, In 1976, Somalian rebels hijack a school bus in Djibouti with 21 French children and an American teacher, and drive it to the border between the French colony and Somalia. French captain Andre Gerval is called to lead a small team of elite snipers to secretly prepare an emergency rescue. When diplomacy comes at a stall and time is running out, Gerval and his team must try to carry out a simultaneous five-man sniper attack to get the children and their teacher out safely.

With the help of a local woman, Virginia, Grace disguises herself as her dead brother, joins the Confederate ranks, becoming a fierce warrior hell bent on exacting revenge and rescuing the lone, surviving boy.
